- Throughout my professional life I always had goals and objectives but one of them was NOT TO GROW OLD!!!! I have found, however, that age has advantages. It brings retirement with time to do what I want to do and when I want to do it. A major part of my professional life centered around the study, teaching and application of psychology. I dealt with students and friends who had many types of cognitive gifts so I now like to refer to those who are a little advanced in years as chronologically gifted. On this blog I want to share pictures and reports of such people and how they are continuing to use these gifts.
